In addition to supporting clients with robotic systems and consumables, NuPlant operates an effective tissue-culture operation in Brisbane with laminar flow cabinets, media preparation, and growth room facilities. This provides an operational site for new SmartClone™ robotic systems and development of improved culture regimes. It is also a wholesale production operation for a limited range of plant species which meet NuPlant’s demand criteria.

SmartClone™ changes the tissue culture paradigm. NuPlant’s key technology allows conditions to be customized for each growth phase for more robust plantlets, grading for uniformity, robotic handling for laboratory efficiency, easy soil transfer, and a head start for accelerated nursery growth.
